These are the immortal words spoken Sixteen Candles heroine Samantha Baker (Molly Ringwald) in the lower 80s teen comedy. This movie is a classic for the 70s over the years, as I was born, and I think it is now a guilty pleasure. It's a movie that we all grew up with. We do not we all know a person like Farmer Ted or Queenie as hot blonde gets it hilarious. It was fresh every young mans fantasy. This funny movie is a relic from the 80s is all dated.The jokes still work (as long uncut one to see it), and it is neat to see things in the recent past are displayed. Diskettes, headgear, shirts, etc. .. The time is not so good, featured star. Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall was born to play this role, and only one, but all have disappeared. The biggest stars are now blips on the screen here: Joan (the head) and John (a geek) Cusack. The film is like a toy can not put away.Some win situations, but at least Paul Dooley an extra dimension to his father. Too many of John Hughes teen comedy feature age angst of thin parental figures. This was the first and best of the so-called Brat Pack movies, and will always have a place in film history in 1980. Girl never learned to give her underwear geeks, and we learned that high school is just a phase, it is easy to forget how time passes.
